Mission statement

African Relief and Development Agency, (ARDA) is a non- profit organisation that is registered in UK. ARDA was established in 2008. As there are more African immigrants now in UK than in the past ARDA is playing an important role in economic and social development of these African communities. ARDA also provides emergency relief and development assistance to poor communities in Africa. ARDA is dedicated to alleviating the poverty and the suffering of the world’s poorest people. ARDA’s mission is to:

• Help UK based Africans who are in need, by reason of youth, age, ill-health, disability, financial hardship or other disadvantage.

• Improve the lives of disadvantaged communities in Africa by providing social, economic and interpersonal support.

• Support victims of natural disasters and civil conflicts.

• Build community capacity by providing the necessary resources.

• Address social injustice and promote peace coexistence in conflict areas.
